How fast can you deliver?

Delivery speed depends on the shipping option selected. Our Express service typically delivers within 1-2 business days for metropolitan areas and slightly longer for rural regions. Orders placed before 12 PM AEST/AEDT will be prioritised for the 4pm mail collection.


When do you dispatch orders?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of payment being received. Orders are dispatched during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders placed before 12PM AEST/AEDT will be sent the same business day. Orders placed after 12PM AEST/AEDT will be dispatched the following business day. Local pick up is available Monday to Friday between 10am - 4pm. eSIM orders will be sent out within 24 hours of receiving the eSIM Activation Request.

How do I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number via email after your order has been dispatched from our office. You can track online via the Australia Post website here:

Please note: the only exception is for the Vodafone AU $30 SIM card, which will be dispatched without tracking.

Delivery issue scenarios

We ship our orders every business day, and we try our hardest to get you your SIM as fast as possible. Once handed over to Australia Post, external factors may affect delivery, beyond our control. Nonetheless, we're committed to aiding you in receiving your SIM before your travel. Here are common issues that may arise during transit:

"Pending" tracking

Sometimes Australia Post fails to scan items into their system until it's out for delivery.

Example:
Shipping to St Kilda 3182 with standard shipping takes 3-4 business days.
If it's only been 2 business days since we sent it out and the tracking says it's Pending, then it's on it's way to you and should be delivered within the next 2 business days.
If it's been 7 business days, then it might be that Australia Post has lost the item. Please contact us so we can assist you with locating it.

Please contact us if you're leaving soon and your tracking is saying Pending.

"On it's way" but it's been stuck somewhere for ages

In some cases, we ship out the order but the shipment encounters delays within the Australia Post network. We recommend reaching out to Australia Post directly to inquire about the status of your delivery. Usually, they are able to locate it. If you are having trouble with this and need further assistance please let us know so we can assist you with this.

"Delivered" but you have not received it

Australia Post can sometimes deliver your shipment to the wrong address.

  1. Check your mailbox
  2. Check with your neighbours to see if they've received it
  3. Contact Australia Post to see whether they have details on where it was delivered. Sometimes they have an image on record on where it was left.
  4. Contact us and let me know what's happened.

Your order has not arrived on time

The best step is to contact us if you're leaving soon and your order hasn't arrived. We will try to help find out where your order is to see if we can help get this to you to make sure you have your SIM before you fly!

What if my order goes missing?

If your order goes missing, please reach out to us via email at hello@globalstarlink.com.au. We'll assist you in locating your order and ensuring it gets to you as soon as possible.

How much is Shipping?

We offer FREE Standard Shipping on all orders. If you prefer expedited shipping, we also provide Express Shipping for $10.00. Additionally, we offer free local pick-up from our Docklands store in Melbourne, VIC. Please select your preferred option at checkout.
