Yes – a local US phone number will be assigned when your eSIM activates. You can find it in your phone settings, or by dialling #611# once active. You may also receive your number via SMS after activation.

No – the phone number is only generated at the time of activation.

No – cruise ships rely on satellite networks, which aren't supported by this eSIM. However, once you're near a port with mobile towers, your eSIM will reconnect and work as normal.

This eSIM is designed primarily for smartphones. While some tablets support eSIM, we cannot guarantee compatibility on all non-phone devices.

Once you have arrived, connect to Wi-Fi and wait for the push notification letting you know your eSIM is ready. If the notification doesn't appear, go to your device settings > Mobile/Cellular > Add eSIM and scan the QR code included in your confirmation email.

No – installation must happen after activation. Your eSIM will automatically activate from around 8 AM Pacific Time (Los Angeles time) on your selected start date. Once activated, you'll receive a push notification. At that point, you'll need to be connected to Wi-Fi to install the eSIM and complete setup.

Once the eSIM is installed:

• Set it as the default for Mobile Data, Voice, and SMS (in your device settings).
• Turn on Mobile Data and Data Roaming (if visiting Canada or Mexico).

We usually recommend using your device settings to check your data balance for the AT&T SIM Card or eSIM. Unfortunately, aside from this method, there are no other ways to check your data balance. Depending on your device type, please use the following steps:

iOS: Settings > Mobile > Current Period (or Current Period Roaming)
Android: Settings > Network & Internet > Data Usage

Note: Since this eSIM includes unlimited data, top-ups aren't required. If you need to extend your service, contact us before your plan ends.

If your trip is longer than the eSIM duration, contact us before your plan expires to explore extension options or purchase a new eSIM (a new number will be assigned).

Hotspoting is available, but it's limited to a maximum of 5GB for every 30 days. Due to the small data allowance, we don't consider it a key feature.

If your eSIM stops working or loses connection, start by making sure you still have signal and that you're in a country included in your eSIM plan. Try toggling Airplane Mode off and on, then restart your device. If the issue persists, please contact our support team for further assistance.

AT&T eSIMs include unlimited calls and texts to local USA, Canada, and Mexico phone numbers. When calling or texting Canada or Mexico, make sure to use the correct country code. You can also use messaging apps like WhatsApp, iMessage, and Messenger to stay connected over Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Yes, you can keep your Australian number active by keeping your original SIM card in the phone (if it supports dual SIM) or safely stored while using the eSIM. This allows you to continue receiving calls and SMS to your Australian number via Wi-Fi or roaming, depending on your settings and provider.
